SPRITZ

Spritz is named after the famous aperitif from the Veneto Region. Our logo tells only part of the story: a gentle cloud of rising bubbles indicates a bubbly mix of Italian sparkling wine called Prosecco, Aperol (an Italian specialty aperitif similar to Campari) and a splash of soda water. The relatively low alcohol content of the spritz is constantly cited as key to its success. In Venice, people say, one spritz easily leads to another.

Located in downtown Coral Gables on Ponce de Leon, one block north of Miracle Mile, Spris is a cozy, rustic gathering place with a warm and relaxed atmosphere bustling with a chic loyal following. The restaurant has been described as "engaging," "hip," and "sophisticated" with floor-to-ceiling windows and lanterns featuring oversized photos of Italian culture. These unique design elements complement the restaurant's northern Italian menu of brick oven pizzas, salads, Panini, breads and homemade desserts.

What people are saying about Spritz

  • I love this place, I have been coming for 8 years and I really feel like family. It just takes a phone call that I'm on my way and a table and my order is ready when I arrive. I couldn't ask for a better staff or better owner. I will forever be a loyal customer, my kids kids will come here.

  • This place is incredible. Food was amazing and very inexpensive. I wish we had one of these here where I live. Jose was our server and could not have been better. Go early in the week for the $10.95 pizza and a wine/beer special
